GET THE LOOK: OCTOBER 2020

We created this look in our studio and it turns out, you love it! We set out to create a space that emulated a modern church lobby to showcase our Church Signs. After gathering inspiration from you, our awesome customers, we created a look that is super clean and easy to refresh with some simple additions like a couch, some lighting, and a touch of foliage.

Since you’ve been asking about how we created this look, we put together this look book for this month so you can freshen up your welcome space. Below are the links to where you can get everything.

  1. Not too bright hanging lights. Just enough to create a nice ambiance. We found these at Home Depot.

  2. The hottest white of the season (left and center walls). White is white, right? Turns out, nope. This is Sherwin Williams SW 7005 Pure White.

  3. This black is not soul sucking like some. It is a few shades brighter than Jet Black for a classy, modern look. We like Sherwin Willams SW 6258 Tricorn Black.

  4. Our current best-seller is the Welcome Home Reversed 4’x8’ sign. We had to double our inventory the day after we launched it because it seems you folks dig it. That’s cool, we do too.

  5. You belong here. A subtle reminder for your people that they are welcome and loved. Get it here.

  6. Greenery without the dirt and maintenance! Our Behold sign features bold ferns to warm up a space without the need for gardening gloves.

  7. This stool conforms to your posterior which is super comfy for your greeting/welcome team when they have to pull a long shift of smiling and shaking hands. We got ours on Amazon.

  8. Our top secret welcome desk on heavy duty casters. Our design team actually made this in the same shop were we make Stage Skins. The finish is not-so-secret with the color of the year from Sherwin Williams, SW 6208 Pewter Green. If we built these, would you buy them?

  9. This vinyl plank flooring from Home Depot is from their Lifeproof Brand which is perfect for high traffic areas where water, stain, and scratch-resistance is crucial. You can get yours here.

  10. This tripod lamp is another Amazon score. Really ties the sitting area together. Get it here.

  11. Admittedly this is not the most comfortable piece of furniture but the look is exactly what we wanted. This came from Wal-Mart’s online store.

  12. We’ve had nothing but good experiences with RugsUSA and this was no exception. It took a day or two to relax once we unboxed it but its exactly what we needed.

  13. An assortment of small tables and knick knacks for a place to set a coffee cup or a few books. All of which can be found on this Amazon wish list.

  14. Ok, we may or may not have borrowed these cute houseplants from an employee’s wife. Check out your local greenhouse or nursery to get hooked up with real foliage. They almost always have experts who will be able to help you get the best plants for your application and teach your how to not kill them in a week. Just promise us you’ll lose those plastic Hostas please.
